Pet Shipping to and from Hawaii

PCSing to or from Hawaii?

Got orders to Schofield Barracks, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Marine Corps Base Hawaii or Fort Shafter? Or heading back to the mainland? PCSmypet is a veteran-owned pet shipping company rated 5 stars by 95+ military families, and Hawaii moves are what we do every day.

1. Tell us about your pets

Send us the number of pets, their breed and weight, where you're moving from and to, and your travel window.

2. Get your quote

We send you a quote page with your options, so you can compare and book online.

3. We book the flight

We book your pets on live-animal air cargo between Honolulu (HNL) and the mainland and send you a clear itinerary.

4. Pickup and delivery

On Oahu, we can pick your pets up at HNL cargo and deliver them straight to your home, including on base. On the mainland, our ground transport team can drive your pets to or from the airport and deliver them anywhere in the Lower 48.

5. Updates the whole way

You'll know when your pets are checked in, in the air, and picked up.

What's included

Booking your pets' air cargo flight, plus guidance on kennel requirements. A packing list and step-by-step instructions. Optional pickup and delivery on Oahu and door-to-door ground transport on the mainland, with live tracking, potty breaks every four hours and no contact with other pets. Help with every question along the way.

What you're responsible for

Your pet's travel documents from your vet. We give you a checklist of exactly what's needed and when. An airline-approved kennel, available at the PX, NEX, Walmart or Amazon.

How do I avoid quarantine in Hawaii?

Pets moving to Hawaii must meet the state's rabies requirements, including a rabies blood test (FAVN) and a waiting period, to qualify for release at the airport. Start early. If your pet's last rabies shot was more than 6 months ago, a booster may be needed first. After you book, we walk you through every step and date.

Can my snub-nosed breed fly?

In many cases, yes. Some airlines don't accept short-nosed breeds like bulldogs and pugs, but we have options for flights between Honolulu and Los Angeles. Tell us your breed and we'll walk you through them.

Do you offer boarding?

Not directly. If you need 5 days or less, Hawaii's airport quarantine station has a low-cost option. For longer stays, we can recommend MWR kennels and deliver your pets there.

How far ahead should I book?

As soon as you have your orders. Moving a pet to Hawaii takes months of preparation because of the rabies blood test and waiting period. Call or message us today for your free quote.
